Daniel & Gabriella

San Diego natives Daniel and Gabriella wanted to leave everything behind and elope in Las Vegas, just the two of them. Rather than a traditional wedding, they envisioned a spontaneous escape where the city became part of their love story. I approached the film as a modern Vegas runaway romance, capturing the thrill of disappearing into the neon lights together, where every street, casino, and quiet moment felt like a page from their own cinematic adventure.

Neon REVERIE

 

Visually, the film was inspired by the contrast between the artificial glow of Las Vegas and the genuine emotion unfolding between the couple. Influenced by the raw intimacy and stylized realism of cinematic classics like Days of Being Wild, Moonlight, and Anora, I wanted the city lights, reflections, and late-night energy to feel like an extension of the romance itself rather than just a backdrop.
